Iran Data Systems companies (IDS) is a member company of General Systems Companies Group (GSC group).
The group has been offering consulting, training and services in ICT as well as in other diverse industrial projects, not only in IRI – mainly in national scale projects for government entities -, but also to leading international companies in Middle East, Europe, Asia and USA. The scope of the activities during its life span of nearly five decades has been fluctuating, subject to economic and political fluctuations and upheavals in the region
IDS was established in 1985 (1364 Solar Hejri), with the core mission to contribute to the IRI efforts to face the challenges of technology embargo restrictions in the field of ICT.
IDS have invested all its potentials on the prime objective of transfer of advanced technology and up-to-date technical knowledge in the field of Information Technology and communication. To meet this prime objective, a number of prominent international IT companies, have been cooperating and collaborating with IDS in providing professional technical support and transferring the needed technical know-How to Iranian experts and clients.
In about 38 years of activity, IDS has succeeded in fulfilling its objectives through implementation of several national scale projects based on the state-of-the art technology, backed up with providing more than a decade of support, in exclusive or sole partnership cooperation with and/or subcontracting from leading international ICT companies, namely Siemens AG (ICT divisions/companies) and Microsoft Corporation.
Other prominent partners to mention have been IFS of Sweden, PBT of South Africa, INTEC/CSG of Britain/USA, Fujitsu-Siemens of Japan and Germany, SISIL and 6D of India. Effectively offering nearly end-to-end technology in the field of ICT HW and SW.
In recent years the emphasis has been in offering solutions and services in the area of BSS for mobile network operators.
IDS personnel and management take special pride in highlighting their success as a completely private enterprise, not only in winning large national scale protects, but more importantly the level of excellence they have been able to achieve to performing and delivery of their undertakings of projects and services.
